The Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust (SnT) is the University’s research and innovation centre for ICT and engineering. It conducts internationally competitive research in six priority areas: Secure and Compliant Data Management, Fintech, Cybersecurity, Space Systems, Autonomous Vehicles and the Internet of Things.

Since its launch in 2009, SnT has undergone rapid development, recruiting top scientists from around the world, launching over 70 EU and ESA projects, developing a Technology Transfer Office, creating four spin-off companies, protecting and licensing IP, and shaping a dynamic interdisciplinary research environment.

SnT is home to the Interdisciplinary Space Master (ISM), which was developed in partnership with the Luxembourg Space Agency. Most of the ISM courses take place at SnT’s facilities on the Kirchberg Campus (Luxembourg City), where the five technical laboratories of the Master are also located.

Kirchberg Campus & Belval Campus

The University facilities are located across three different locations in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, namely the Kirchberg, Limpertsberg and Belval campuses.

Courses of the ISM mainly take place at SnT’s facilities on the Kirchberg Campus (Luxembourg City) with the exception of a few being held at the Belval Campus (Esch-sur-Alzette). The two campuses are 24 km (15 miles) away from each other.

Public transportation within the entire country of Luxembourg is free of charge.
