Dr Sajad Tabibi received his M.S. Eng. degree in Geodesy from the K. N. Toosi University of Technology in 2010, and his Ph.D. in Engineering Sciences from the University of Luxembourg in 2016. He has been a full-time Faculty Member of the Geophysics Laboratory at the Faculty of Science, Technology and Medicine of the University of Luxembourg since 2016.
Tabibi’s research interests include Satellite Geodesy and Global Navigation Satellite System Reflectometry for new opportunities in Satellite Remote Sensing and environmental applications. In the past, he has lectured several courses at the bachelor’s and master’s degrees at the University of Luxembourg, authored more than 15 peer-reviewed articles and contributed as a reviewer for 10 journals. Currently, he is the chair of the International Association of Geodesy GNSS-R Working Group and a member of the NASA CYGNSS science team.
